VISIONARIES – INSIDE THE MANIFESTING MIND
Every amazing story started with a new beginning. Out of the ashes many broken souls have risen to write a new chapter in the book of their lives. Whether you have chosen to be the voice of the under-served, create a new legacy of empowerment, or manifest your greatest win from a vision, you all have the power to manifest your own greatness. If you look at the world around you, so many people are re-writing the story of their lives by challenging their old limiting beliefs and diving deep into the depth of their own soul for courage to manifest the unseen. I am no different.
As a child growing up in humble beginnings, my mom brought me and my 3 siblings from Puerto Rico with barely any money but the hopes of giving us a better life than she once had. After my Mom and Papi divorced, we moved to the United States to live with my grandma until my mom could get on her feet. She was the strongest women I ever knew. Mom knew the key to self-sufficiency was an education and self-respect, so she saw to it that we earned our Bachelor’s Degrees before we even considered marriage or starting a family. I am grateful to her dedication and force to be reckoned with attitude that propelled us into living a beautiful life.
I realized that mom was a visionary. She knew she could provide us the resources of knowledge and the foundation of self-respect and self-awareness even though she had not yet realized these gifts in her life… but she eventually did. Before my mom lost her battle with breast cancer in 2004, she had earned her PHD and helped create a fine arts center at her community college where she served as a board member. I not only had her words to instruct me, but her action to support everything she told us could be possible. My mom was the greatest visionary in my life because she taught me that anything was possible, and I only had to believe and be dedicated towards the pursuit of my goals.
You have the power to create the greatest goals, and in the world of competition you soon realize that competition is merely an illusion. There is always one person who has created the experience you are trying to achieve far before the name of the winner is even drawn. How? By realizing the power of faith and focus harnessed together creates an empowering and undeniable win. The women you watch on stage during competitions are visionaries, because they saw a vision within their minds eye and knew from the power of their God whispers, this vision was very much a reality for them. Whether you are manifesting a pageant win, a lottery win, or even an HGTV Dream Home win, you have the power to create from the tools within your own mind.
As a spiritual being having a physical experience, you are born to create. But as children we are taught that what we see is truth, and if you can’t see it then it doesn’t exist. However, as a visionary you must learn to tap into your god whispers through feeling the intuition echoing throughout your soul. Creation has its own language and is meant to only be understood by you, the creator. You have the power to see the end from the beginning through the visions God shows you. However, what happens after you receive the vision is up to you. The women you watch win pageants took their vision and focused on it until they not only saw the end from the beginning, but they created the steps in which to bring it to light.
Look at any perceived competition as a creation. After all, manifesting is an art and visionaries hone in on their craft until they refine the details of their goals and create it. Stay so in tuned with your God whispers until you allow the silence drown out the noise. Then look at your pageant, lottery, or dream home win and ask yourself how you can use these wins to catapult you into your next chapter. If you are drawn to pageantry for the fashion, the modeling and the chance to empower and inspire another woman, then how can you take your win and turn it into a greater chapter of your life?
You are creating your universe every time you give yourself permission to embrace the journey and look at the outcome far beyond what the physical eye can see. You are a powerful creator and when you do what you love and relish in the journey of pageantry, competition, or manifesting things that most people would consider to be a miracle, you inspire yourself and the world around you. This is why competition doesn’t exist except in the mind of fear. Own your talents, embrace your truth and use your visions to write a new chapter in the book of your life. You hold the pen… so write.
